Bac Giang DOFA supports citizens losing contact abroad

The provincial Department of Foreign Affairs of Bac Giang province (DOFA) received written requests of the citizens in Viet Yen and Yen Dung districts with relatives losing contact abroad.

DOFA received the request for support by Nguyen Van Hoi born on 27 September 1995 in Chua village, Tien Dung commune, Yen Dung district, Bac Giang province regarding his 4 relatives losing contact in China, particularly:

1. His father Nguyen Van Thuan born on 23 September 1968 having ID card No 120894196 dated 2 July 2016 and permanent residential address at Chua village, Tien Dung commune, Yen Dung district, Bac Giang province,

2. His elder brother Nguyen Van Tu born on 5 January 1992 having ID card No 121975226 dated 3 December 2018 and permanent residential address at Chua village, Tien Dung commune, Yen Dung district, Bac Giang province,

3. His cousin Nguyen Van Manh born on 1 July 1985 having ID card No 122307380 dated 3 October 2015 and permanent residential address at Chua village, Tien Dung commune, Yen Dung district, Bac Giang province,

4. His cousin Nguyen Van Son born on 23 September 1990 having ID card No 121991880 dated 14 January 2017 and permanent residential address at Thuan Ly village, Tien Dung commune, Yen Dung district, Bac Giang province.

On 20 November 2019, these citizens emigrated from Ta Lung international border gate in Cao Bang province to China to seek for job. After getting into Longzhou county, Chongzou city, Guangxi prefecture, China, Nguyen Van Thuan called his son Nguyen Van Hoi to inform 4 of them had come to Longzhou. Since then, Hoi’ family has not received any information from them.

Besides, DOFA received the request by Do Van Thuan born on 19 May 1970 in Than Chuc village, Tien Son commune, Viet Yen district, Bac Giang province to support seeking information of his son named Do Cong Phan  born on 3 December 1993 who has ID card No 122123166 issued on 13 December 2010 and passport No C1323626 dated issued on 29 February 2016.

Thuan’s son on 15 January 2016 signed the overseas study consultancy contract with NIHONGONOMORI Trading Service and Tourism International Joint Stock Company located at building No 3, VNT Tower, 19 Nguyen Trai, Thanh Xuan district, Hanoi with phone No 024.6262.0985.

Do Cong Phan immigrated to Japan on 5 July 2016 under the signed contract for studying abroad and started studying in Tokyo Nihongo Kenkyu Sho University located at 169-0074 Tokyo, Shinjuku City, Kita Shinjuku, 1 chome - 29-11.OS biru, Japan. His temporary residential address is at 164-0003, Tokyo - Nakano city - Higashi nakano, 2 chome - 34 – 2, Japan.

During studying in Japan, Do Cong Phan regularly contacted his family. On 2 February 2019, Phan called his family to inform he was going to complete the training course and return Vietnam. If he was approved visa extension, he would stay in Japan to work.

However, Do Van Thuan’s family and his relatives have not received any information from Phan and had no idea where he is in Japan.

After receiving requests of Nguyen Van Hoi and Do Van Thuan, DOFA sent official letters to the Consular Department of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Vietnamese Embassy in China, Vietnamese Embassy in Japan and related agencies requesting them to collaborate with competent agencies in the host countries to verify information of the above citizens.
