General department of Customs has announced that with the total import and export value of over 8.5 billion US dollar in 2016 (of which export value reached nearly 4.2 billion US dollar; import value reached over 4.3 billion US dollar), Bac Giang is in the list of top 10 provinces having the highest import – export value nationwide.

Ho Chi Minh City is at the top of the list with total import-export value of 69.7 billion US dollar. The other provinces include Bac Ninh, Ha Noi, Binh Duong, Thai Nguyen, Dong Nai, Hai Phong, Ba Ria – Vung Tau, Hai Duong.

According to the report of Ministry of Finance, total state budget revenue in January 2017 is estimated to reach 97.4 thousand billion dong, equal to 103.9% in comparison with January 2016. Of which, revenue from import-export activities is estimated to reach 19.2 thousand billion dong, equivalent to 6.7% of the estimate.
