On this occasion, the working delegation visited Shinjinkai Nursing Home in Osaka Prefecture on 21 February, where is caring the elderly. Bac Giang province wanted to learn this model and expected to attract Japanese investors to Bac Giang in caring old people.

On the same day, PPC Vice Chairman Mai Son and other delegates attended the ceremony marking 50^th anniversary of Viet Nam – Japan diplomatic relations, participated in scientific exchange activities among Osaka Metropolitan University and Vietnamese Universities, handed over the Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) between Bac Giang province and Osaka Metropolitan University and discuss on cooperation programs in coming time.

The MOU is aimed at cooperation in medical and health care sector between the People’s Committee of Bac Giang province and Osaka Metropolitan University.

Within the working agenda, the delegation visited Vietnamese Embassy in Tokyo and Vietnamese Consulate General in Osaka. At the visits, the PPC Vice Chairman requested the agencies to support Bac Giang province in implementing the MOU with Osaka Metropolitan University, export of farm produce to Japan and promoting investment from Japanese partners in high - tech sectors to Bac Giang.

Especially, during the working sessions with the Vietnamese Embassy, Vietnamese Consulate General in Osaka and Chairman of Osaka Metropolitan University, PPC Vice Chairman Mai Son asked for their support in semi-conductor training. His requests were accepted by the Ambassador, Consul General and Chairman of the University.

Besides, the delegation visited Bac Giang Compatriot Association in Japan and met with Bac Giang people living and working here.
