DOFA supports Bac Giang - native student in Japan losing contact

The provincial Department of Foreign Affairs on 29 July received the request of Quat Thi Huong in Giang village, Thanh Lam commune, Luc Nam district, Bac Giang province on supporting seeking information of her son who is studying in Japan.

Accordingly, Quat Thi Huong’s son named Le Minh Hai born on 13 July 2000 holding passport No C6570782 issued on 4 January 2019 signed the overseas study consultancy contract with Thanh Mai International Education Joint Stock company located at 20/335/28 An Duong Vuong, Phu Thuong ward, Tay Ho district, Hanoi since 6 August 2018.

Le Minh Hai immigrated to Japan on 18 April 2019 and started studying at Urawa International School, Tokyo branch located at No 174-0042 Tokyo Itabashiku higashisakashita 2-4-13, Japan. He resides at 336-0026 Saitama ken, Saitama shi, Manami Ku, Tsuji 7-5-9-302. He had gone to school as normal and regularly contacted to the family until 16 July 2020.

However, his family, friends and relatives could not contact to him since 17 July 2020 and currently no one knows where Hai is. His family is very confused and worried about him.

After receiving request of Quat Thi Huong, the Foreign Affairs Department sent a correspondence to the Consular Department, Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Vietnamese Embassy in Japan and related agencies for timely solutions to seek and verify information of the student in Japan.
