At the visit, PPC Chairman Le Anh Duong thanked Chinese Embassy and Ambassador Xiong Bo for their attention and support over the past years. Besides, he informed some cooperation activities among agencies, localities of Bac Giang province and Chinese localities in 2023, of which Bac Giang has paid due attention to Chinese investors. In addition, the province is accelerating construction of the classrooms in Binh Son primary and secondary school (Luc Nam district) sponsored by the Embassy of China.

At the visit to the Embassy of Singapore to Vietnam, PPC Chairman Le Anh Duong extended the best New Year wishes to Ambassador Jaya Ratnam and staff of the Embassy. Besides, the PPC Chairman expressed his thanks to Singaporean investors for the good cooperation in recent years. Chairman Le Anh Duong hoped the Ambassador to continue his attention and support to introduce Singaporean investors and enterprises located in Singapore to invest in Bac Giang province in logistics and 5G sectors, which are of Singapore’s strength. In addition, the Ambassador was expected to help the province to expand cooperative relations with Singaporean partners in education and training, tourism, culture and construction of smart cities. PPC Chairman Le Anh Duong invited the Ambassador to visit Bac Giang province in 2024.

Ambassador Jaya Ratnam congratulated the outstanding results gained by Bac Giang province in 2023 which is a good evidence for proper leadership and determination of the province. He agreed with the recommendations of the province in the fields of education and training, tourism and others. In addition, the Ambassador also proposed 3 contents of cooperation with Bac Giang province in coming time, particularly providing Singaporean Government’s scholarships to students of Bac Giang, encouraging Singaporean students to Bac Giang and other localities in Vietnam to learn about Vietnamese culture and people and public official training. Ambassador Jaya Ratnam also wished to visit Bac Giang province with participation of Singapore Business Federation.
