Wheelchair presenting is one of the SEV’s annual social responsibility activities to show gratitude to local people and community in Vietnam. This activity was initiated in Bac Ninh province since 2010, Thai Nguyen province in 2014 and Bac Giang province since 2019. This is the 3^rd consecutive year the company presented wheelchairs to people with disabilities in Bac Giang in a hope to reduce moving obstacles for disabled people and help them to rehabilitate more easily to overcome difficulties in life.

SEV presents 50 wheelchairs to Tan Yen district and 50 others to Yen The district

Addressing at the event, Kim Yong Seok, External Affairs Director of Samsung Vietnam said, wheelchair presenting is an annual activity of the company to encourage people with disabilities to have more fortitude to overcome difficulties in life. In 2021, the production of the company has been badly impacted by Covid-19 pandemic; however, the company has adapted to the new normal thanks to support of the local government. Despite difficulties, SEV is still making more efforts to contribute to development of the localities with a desire to cherish more belief and hope to ease burden of the vulnerable people.

On behalf of the people’s committee of Tan Yen and Yen The districts, Ngo Quoc Hung, Vice chairman of the people’s committee of Tan Yen district expressed the deep gratitude to SEV for their attention and sharing to people with disabilities at the localities. He expected SEV will continue paying attention and accompanying the local government to help disadvantaged people and policy beneficiary families while developing production and business to create jobs for people in the district particularly and Bac Giang province generally.
