Some 1.5 billion USD of investment capital attracted to Bac Giang province
Although it is not endowed with ideal natural conditions nor located in the key economic triangle in northern Vietnam without seaport, airport and border gate, Bac Giang province gained impressive results in investment attraction in the first 7 months of 2023.

Bac Giang province has attracted about 72.7 million USD of investment capital as of 17 July 2023 and 1.550.43 billion USD in the first 7 months, 1.5 times higher than the same period.
Of which, the province licensed 13 domestic projects worth 2.045 trillion VND, up 42.2 percent and 47 FDI projects with total registered capital of 1.99.5 billion USD, 4.47 times higher than the same period. Besides, the province gave a nod to increase investment capital for 13 domestic projects with an added capital of 1.338.7 trillion VND and 22 FDI projects with total adjusted capital of 206.93 million USD, 40.4 percent lower than the same period.
87 new enterprises were established in the province in July with total registered capital of 577 billion VND and 1,217 companies were established in 7 months, up 31.4 percent against the same period. However, the total registered capital decreased by15.8 percent in the first 7 months with 18.427 trillion VND while 1,163 companies dissolved, suspended their operation and moved to other localities, an increase of 8.4 percent.
In order to gain the positive results, the provincial leaders, departments and agencies in Bac Giang province have focused on investment promotion in different countries while paying attention to improving and completing industrial and traffic infrastructure. In addition, Bac Giang province issued the Scheme on improving investment attraction efficiency until 2030.
