YWAM pays Tet-greeting visit to Bac Giang DOFA
On the occasion of Vietnamese traditional Lunar New Year festival (or Tet), Youth With A Mission (YWAM, a Swiss non-governmental organization) led by Roslyn Jackson, Country Director visited and extended Tet greetings to the Department of Foreign Affairs of Bac Giang province (DOFA). The delegation was received by DOFA Director Ngo Bien Cuong and Vice Director Nguyen Quang Tuan.
At the visit, Roslyn extended her New Year wishes to DOFA’s leaders and employees and her gratitude to DOFA for their support in implementing YWAM’s programs and projects in the province.
DOFA Director Ngo Bien Cuong extended his thanks and Tet greetings to YWAM. He hoped to receive continuous support from the organization for the programs and projects in Bac Giang province.

YWAM has donated the projects for over 10 years in Luc Nam district, Bac Giang province. In 2017-2021 period, the organization implemented 6 programs and projects in the communes of Kham lang, Bao son and Bac Lung with total value of nearly 400,000 USD in the fields of rural development, improvement of education quality, enhancing women’s roles and building school library. Besides, YWAM presented gifts and scholarships to needy students in Luc Nam district with total donation of some 7,000 USD.
YWAM has closely collaborated with DOFA, the people’s committee of Luc Nam district and related agencies in implementing the programs and projects in the province conforming to legal regulation in NGO work. YWAM’s projects have high efficiency in improving livelihood of the beneficiaries , contributing to agricultural and rural development in Luc Nam district.
