December 10, Food Festival 2017 was organized in Hanoi. This is an annual activity organized by the Service Department for Diplomatic Corps (Ministry of Foreign Affairs) sponsored by Ambassador Nguyen Nguyet Nga, spouse of Prime minister cum Minister of Foreign Affairs Pham Binh Minh.

At the festival, embassies in Hanoi, foreign Culture centers, provinces and cities and enterprises introduced typical cultural features especially food and cuisine. With more than 100 food stalls and special cultural performances, Food Festival 2017 attracted thousands of people from Hanoi, adjacent areas and foreigners.

This is the third year Bac Giang DOFA attends Food Festival. With two food stalls, Bac Giang DOFA introduced some typical products of the province such as fresh fruits (orange, grapefruit, and guava), traditional cakes (dry pancake, rice flan, bean porridge and green rice flake cake), Chu rice noodle, red peanut, Luc Ngan dried litchi, dried tea of Ven village, Yen The district.

Bac Giang contributed Quan Ho singing performances

The products were highly appreciated by domestic and international visitors. In addition, the Quan Ho folk song performances of Bac Giang province contributed to a special program. By attending the Food Festival, Bac Giang Department of Foreign Affairs introduced special cultural features of the province leaving good impressions on people from different provinces and cities and international friends as well.
