The delegation was received by permanent Deputy Secretary of the provincial Party Committee and Chairwoman of the provincial People’s Council Le Thi Thu Hong, Chairman of the provincial Fatherland Front Committee Tran Cong Thang, Vice Chairman of the provincial People’s Committee Phan The Tuan and leaders of some related departments and agencies of the province.

On behalf of the provincial leaders, permanent Deputy Secretary of the provincial Party Committee Le Thi Thu Hong warmly welcomed and thanked Nhem Valy and other delegates for spending time to visit Bac Giang province.

Permanent Deputy Secretary of the provincial Party Committee briefed the delegates on natural conditions, advantages, potentials and outstanding results in socio-economic development and investment attraction of Bac Giang province. She stressed, the good neighborhood, friendship and comprehensive sustainable traditional relations of Vietnam and Cambodia have become common precious asset of both nations. Implementing the policies of the Party and State, Bac Giang province has determined to preserve, build up and nurture this good traditional relationship. Besides, the province has regularly fostered exchanges and people-to-people activities with Cambodian organizations and people. A number of Cambodian delegations paid working visits to the province. This high-ranking visit is significant to celebrate the 56^th founding anniversary of Vietnam-Cambodia diplomatic ties (24 June 1967- 2023).

Nhem Valy, member of the Cambodian People’s Party (CPP), Permanent Vice Chairman and Secretary General of the National Council of the Solidarity for the Development of Cambodian Motherland congratulated Bac Giang province for its rapid and robust socio-economic development.

  He added Cambodia is also fostering industrial development; hence, many opportunities are opened up for cooperation and commercial exchanges among enterprises of both countries to increase import and export values.

So far, Vietnam Fatherland Front Central Committee has organized several activities to nurture the solidarity, traditional relationship, friendship and comprehensive cooperation between Vietnam and Cambodia for wide-range practical and effective development.

On this occasion, Nhem Valy requested the leaders of Bac Giang province to create more favourable conditions for the provincial Fatherland Front Committee to join hands with VFFC to implement more activities to nurture, tighten and develop the cooperative ties with Cambodian partners.
